Courses and Workshops

The majority of my training courses are delivered private. That means, at a customer site with employees from one company or team only. Only a few are offered as public enrollment. The reason is, that my courses are not only deliver a certain knowledge (e.g. Scrum) but are also team-building activities. In small groups (just like in real projects), participants learn to communicate and collaborate and learn agile by doing. Customers can take the energy from the classroom directly into their project. This approach has been proven extremely successful and past customer always emphasize this particular quality of the course.

Learning by doing and working in teams is essential across all of my courses. The courses are extremely hands-on, dynamic, flexible, fun and of course high quality in content. They will motivate and bring employees closer together and create a level of trust between them.

I have created the Scrum Tour where I post additional information about past and upcoming Scrum sessions.

All my Scrum material is in-synch with the requirements for the "Professional Scrum Master" certification. Students may or may not decide after my training course to pursue the certificate and participate voluntarily in the Scrum assessment.

In November 2010, I have bundled the Scrum in Depth (SID) course from Ken Schwaber (co-creator of Scrum) with my 1-day Scrum Workshop to a Scrum Power Pack. You can either enroll in the individual courses or the discounted bundle. This is one of the few open enrollment sessions I provide throughout the year.

I have co-taught two certified Scrum Master training courses during November'08, one with Tamara Sulaiman (New York) the other with Joseph Little (Washington D.C.). Since October 2009, the Scrum Alliance decided to change the rules for Scrum Master certification and added an online examination following a CSM course to the requirements.
